Volunteer with CMLC
Volunteers are a critical part of CMLC's work!
In 2016, more than 687 CMLC volunteers donated 6,006 hours of service - hours that helped us work effectively to save the beautiful places we all love in western North Carolina. In 2017, our need for volunteer support has grown even larger, so please consider lending a hand! There are countless ways to be involved that will utilize your skills and abilities for the benefit of conservation and our community. Volunteers of all abilities and experiences are welcome.
If you would like to get involved and contribute to CMLC as a volunteer, please follow these easy steps!
1. To check out current CMLC volunteer opportunities: Read this pdf document of the monthly email to volunteers. This email includes upcoming workdays and other news to volunteers in a fun and engaging format. If you are not on the volunteer email list – fill out a Volunteer Information Form and the Volunteer and Community Engagement Associate will contact you with further details! Questions, comments, or wanting to say hello: email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 828-697-5777 ext. 211
2. Fill out a Volunteer Information Form.
3. Attend a Volunteer Information Session to learn more about CMLC and what we do.
4. Sign up for volunteer opportunities by contacting the Volunteer and Community Engagement Associate at Volunteer@carolinamountain.org or 828-697-5777 ext 211.
Thank you for your support!
