Come on an Adventure with CMLC!
Are you looking for an opportunity to go on an adventure?
Are you new to outdoor recreation?
Do you want to meet people who enjoy the natural heritage of our region as much as you do?
Do you want to learn more about the area and/or outdoor recreation?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, you have come to the right webpage! CMLC is now offering a wide variety of adventures.
If you have been with us for a while, you may know that we have a strong history of leading hikes throughout Southwestern North Carolina. We have decided, after much success, to branch out and try new things, including a guided kayak trip (coming Summer 2017).

- Moderate: These adventures are suitable for those with some experience and may be physically challenging. Depending on the pre-existing condition, these adventures may or may not be suitable for you. These are generally longer adventures, but they move at a relaxed pace.
- Difficult: These adventures are designed for individuals with some experience in outdoor recreation. They are physically challenging. These are fast-paced and often long adventures.
- Hard Core: These are for experienced outdoor recreationists only. They will be physically challenging and may require existing understanding of a specific outdoor sport.
We understand that these ratings are highly subjective. Please contact us with any questions or concerns prior to an adventure.

Where can I view photos that were taken during the adventure? At the end of each adventure, we will post photos on Facebook in an album dedicated to that particular adventure.
May I bring my dog? Sometimes. If an adventure is dog-friendly it will be specified in the description. Please keep in mind that during adventures dogs must be kept on a leash and you are responsible for anticipating your pet's needs. You should plan to bring extra water and snacks for your dog.
